Play stumper

    I just had a teacher come to the library looking for a play she
said another friend had used probably in the early 80s.  She
thinks it is called "Clowns" and is by Reginald Bain (but not sure of
the spelling of Bain).  She looked through the last 20 years of
PLAY MAGAZINE, but didn't find it.  Can anyone help on this?
