Hi all-- In our library/information center, the best use of the internet goes something like this: 1) Before their visit, students are assigned a computer (and sometimes a partner). 2) Teacher prepares questions the students will answer while researching online. 3) Suggested sites are bookmarked on the computer and written on white board or a handout. 4) In case of connection problems we have cd-rom software loaded and ready for immediate use. Delurking, in advance. :> JReesha, Library Media Tech Richardson Middle School Torrance, CA jreesha@aol.com In a message dated 9/8/99 7:25:55 PM, LISTSERV@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU writes: >Date: Wed, 8 Sep 1999 20:41:37 EDT >From: Mary Ann Shaffer <ShafferMAS@AOL.COM> >Subject: Target: Middle School Internet Use >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" >Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > > I read a lot on LM_NET about teachers using the Internet in their >lessons.
