Target:3-M Security Maintenance

It's time for our media center to purchase (or not) a maintenance contract
with 3-M Security Systems.  We've had our system for 1 year.  The cost is
hefty at $730 per year.  For those of you who have this system, have you had
many maintenance problems?  How often?  Is the maintenance contract worth
the cost?  Thanks for any advice you can give us.
