McFarland has a Fiction Index for Readers 10-16. The copyright is 1992.,

I think, and when I stopped at their booth at a convention I was told
that
the compiler (Vicki Anderson) was *old* and not likely to update it. It
covers books written 1960-1990, and is very well organized and very
helpful. I hope they can get someone to add the next decade!

Best Books for Senior High Readers (Bowker) and the newer Best Books for
... (I can't remember the title, but they combined Jr. and Senior High
School volumes into one (also Bowker).

What do Young Adults Read Next? There are 2 editions and are by Pam
Spencer, I think.

Corey, we publish the Middle and Junior High School Catalog. It comes
as a Basic Edition with four supplements. The last Basic contained
about 1000 fiction books with the supplements adding about 250
additional books. We also publish the Senior High School Catalog.
The last edition had about 500 fiction books cataloged, with about
100 added in the supplements. The fiction section in the Senior high
school catalog is smalller, since the feeling is that there are more
adult level sources for fiction that for the lower grades.
