Sec: Biographies

I have had a request from several science teachers to find
biographies on famous scientist.  Many of these were very unfamiliar
to me and I haven't been able to find very many.  They want them on
about a 9th grade reading level.  They are looking for people like
James Chadwick, Henri Becquerel, Michael Faraday, Thomas Lowry,
Dimitri Mendeleev etc...  If anyone has a source for this type of
book I would appreciate the information.  They are looking for
individual biographies, not collective ones.  Thanks in advance for
your time.
