ELEM: TARGET: Read aloud picture books for teaching book care

Hello,

I am attempting to combine storytime and lessons in book care to our
first and second graders. Can anyone suggest read aloud titles that
relate to the following topics?
    Protect books from babies, dogs, and other household hazards.
    Protect books from bad weather.
    Remember to have clean hands when handling books.
    Return books on time.
    Keep the shelves in the library in good order.

I would appreciate any suggestions anyone could offer.
