Working at Private school

Dear Netters,

I am considering looking for a SLMS position down the road at a private
school, so I can send my youngest there too.

He is currently in 5th grade in a big, big, and highly bureaucratic public
school system.  Our oldest is in 11th in the public HS and I don't think I
can take sending another child through the system...the HS is 3,000
students now.

My question is for those of you who work in the same school where your
child goes, what are the pros and cons?  Thanks in advance for feedback as
I have alot of anxiety about all this...
