ELEM: Tall Tales book for class use?

Two third grade teachers asked me today if I knew of a tall tale collection
that they could use as a classroom text. They are looking for:

third grade reading/interest level
a collection that would include tales about many of the tall tale characters
paperback/affordable (enough would be purchased so that each student would
have one)

I promised to get back to them as soon as I checked with "my list-serv".
