Help! :) My media coordinator is seeking information, specifically, research (but other info. would be appreciated also) which indicates what size school library media centers should be. It seems that the old argument of "why do we need large libraries (or libraries at all) when we can access so much information through the internet and other technologies" has reared its ugly head again. As you can imagine, this argument gives us knots in our stomachs. Thanks in advance for your assistance!!!!!!!! :) Lyn Mathews Library Media Specialist Dearington Elementary School for Innovation Lynchburg, VA 804.522.3757 Fairstmaid@aol.com (h) mathelc@dearington.lynchburg.org (w) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "The middle sort of historians (of which the most part are) spoil all; they will chew our meat for us." de Montaigne +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
