This may be an easy one ... Internet mail doesn't accept all those
fancy features in Word ... use notepad to create it.  Than MAY be all
you need to know.

I'll try.  Open Notepad (Start|Programs|Accessories|Notepad
probably); it depends some on how Win9x was installed.

Create a file with the signature you want; cover needs, keep it
informative and accurate, don't waste TOO MUCH making it pretty ...
this is information transfer, not art.

In Netscape, Edit|Preferences|Mail&Newsgroups|Identity|Signature
select the file you created.  In this example, I use ...
  C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program\Lm_net.txt
but you can put it anywhere, and browse to select it.

The next new message you open will start up with the signature in
place and your cursor will be above it.

Ah, laziness is a precursor to invention ... <g> signatures minimize
work.  The also maximize accuracy.
