National Children's Book Week is right around the corner, and I would like to know if anyone has any ideas how to celebrate it in an elementary school of 650 students. Last year I got the staff as well as the students involved by hanging "quilts" around the school. One quilt was devoted to each class and on the quilt was an illustration of each child's favorite children's book. Each teacher's favorite book also included a little description of what the book was about and why it was his/her favorite children's book. Everyone enjoyed this last year, but I am looking for something new and different for this year's celebration. I look forward to your suggestions.
