TECH: Macintosh Network Logon and Security

We have a medium sized media center, with approximately 40 Macs
connected in a local area network, which in turn has a high speed direct
internet connection.  We are looking for "front end" program(s), that
will allow us to control student log-on with user name and password, as
well as access to programs and places to save.  In addition, we need the
program(s) to control access to the Internet, to restrict use to those
students who have signed parental permission slips on file.  We are
looking at Foolproof, which does some things very well, but not
log-ons.  Any suggestions as to programs we could look at, for the Mac?
