I believe I was guilty of posting prematurely when I first got on this listsev. I was not offended by the posts concerning ways to keep down the number of messages. It gave me something to think about. I think it would behoove us all to check the archives before we ask a question. If I post a query, I send a one or two word thank you to those who respond to me, rather than cluttering the list. One way I cut down on the volume of mail is to have my e-mail rearrange itself by subject once a day or so and quickly delete messages that are obviously not of interest. My problem is, I am interested in almost everything. I am learning to be more ruthless about deleting without looking, as the volume of messages is SO great! As a K-12 librarian, my interests are broader than many. This is only my second year as a librarian and LM_Net has been invaluable to me. Keep up the wonderful work and try not to be easily offended, folks. ___________________________ Judy L. Meadows K-12 Librarian Verona R-7 School District 101 E.
