Daer All-

Sorry about the cross posting but after seeing this on 2 other lists
(ZDNet and DUC) I decided to share it with you all. Any reactions?

[AnchorDesk_Daily@anchordesk.zdlists.com]:
WHAT A WONDERFUL WEB
Kids who use the Internet spend more time reading books and newspapers
and
less time watching TV, according to a new survey. The National School
Boards
Foundation (NSBF) survey contradicts earlier reports that the Web makes
people less social. The NSBF found that 95% of the parents surveyed said
family interactions have either increased or stayed the same in spite of
Net
usage. Click for more

The findings contrast a highly publicized report
<http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,2438940,00.html> from
Stanford University that concluded that the more time people spent
online,
the less time they spent with other people.
