Hello friends, I am beginning to think about ordering for next year and we will be adding eighth grade to our school. (We added seventh this year) I'd like to make a special effort to build our fiction collection for the 7th and 8th graders, maybe even carve out a section just for them. This year I focused on non-fiction. I've been reading the various "best books" lists, but I'd also like some input from those of you out there. Who are your favorite current YA authors? Who are the kids' favorite, if different from yours? If you had only $500 to spend, what titles or authors would you choose to buy? Thanks in advance. I'll be glad to post a HIT.
