Dear LM_Netters,

The architect's plans for our new library (with considerable input from
me) have been approved and now the fun part begins -- selecting needed
equipment and furniture.

I must make many important decisions in a very telescoped period of time
-- what else is new? -- and could really use some help.  After checking
the archives, I still have many questions about the following:

        Name:  Library, Information Center, Media Center, Other?
        Network for all 30 computers:  wireless? (fast enough?  dependable
enough?) wireless for some but not for others?
        Wall-mounted TVs: 27"?, brand? model?
        Brand/model for high-speed B/W  and color networked laser printers?
        "      "    OH projectors?
        "      "    portable white board?
        "      "    computer projector?
        "      "    FAX?
        "      "    flatbed scanners?
        Tables:  vendor for wood tables and chairs, stuffed chairs, cubes
        Computer chairs:  with sled bottoms or casters?
        Computers:  What proportion of I-Macs to PCs?  Macs with floppy drives?
        Signage:  vendor?  style?

Any opinions on any of the above would be enormously appreciated!  Or
web sites I should visit (other than On-Lion and the obvious ones).
