Thank you to everyone who sent me 'live' music sites for listening to the various instruments of the orchestra. Here is the list, which you might like to tuck away somewhere. World Book and Microsoft "Musical Instruments" are both CD-ROMs which have this feature. Websites include Learn About Instruments http://datadragon.com/education/instruments/ (At the moment I cannot access the sounds but the webmaster is working on it for us) Energy in the Air : Sounds of the Orchestra http://tqjunior.advanced.org/5116/index.htm Play Music http://www.playmusic.org/stage.html Essentials of Music http://www.essentialsofmusic.com/ Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Encounter http://www.mso.com.au/edu/front.html Happy listening Barbara Barbara Braxton Teacher Librarian Palmerston District Primary School PALMERSTON ACT 2913 AUSTRALIA T. 02 6205 6162 F. 02 6205 7242 E. barbara@dynamite.com.au W. http://www.palmdps.act.edu.au "Together, we learn from each other." =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
