Mid: Author sites

I have several classes who are beginning to research famous children's and
young adult authors.  I have another class that is studying famous poets.  I
used to have several internet sites bookmarked that had wonderful collections
of links to author sites; unfortunately, all my bookmarks were wiped from the
computer last summer.  Could you help and send me sites that you feel would be
good collections of links to author sites?  I will be happy to post a hit.
