Credible sponsor or organization? (American Cancer Society vs Joe's Cancer Site) Are references provided? IF at an .edu site, is it professional work or student work? I'm especially careful at ~name sites and have even written for more info about authenticity and credibility... But I'm at the point now where I'm willing to pay. That is, I pay SLJ and Booklist and others to provide me with reviews of quality resources. I trust them to provide some guidance as to credibility and authenticity too because 1) I just don't have the time to review every book I may need, and 2) I simply can't be an expert in every subject area. So as the net expands and my own time shrinks, I need access to more web reviews than I'm currently finding. I need both quality and quantity. And while I still prefer my review journals be in print I'd like an electronic version available (password for paid subscribers?) so I can more easily manipulate the text for inclusion in a web site and other docs. So ... more reviews please... positive AND negative. I want to link to the best. I can no longer keep up with the task on my own -- and I will never be an expert in all subject areas. J.
