As a member of the male minority on this list, I must join in this thread.
The "Male Bashing" post  is a classic example of why PC is not correct.  It
appears that Political Correctness has sensitized us to a point  that just
about anything we write or say will offend someone, especially on a list of
11,000 people.  The cost of being so sensitive  is that we have lost our
collective sense of humor.  If we can not laugh at ourselves or have fun poked
at us, then we are taking ourselves far too seriously and life is far too short
for that.  I look in the mirror each morning to shave and as I do, there is
certainly much to poke fun at.  I will get down from the soapbox now.  By the
way, I accidentally deleted the Male Bashing post, would the person that
originally sent it to the list, please sent it to me again.
