We have an interesting situation in our Middle School where we put on intergenerational plays (with staff and students acting as peers.) We try to get ones with large groups of choruses which can be expanded. In the past we have done: Hello Dolly, Music Man, My Fair Lady, Annie, Me and My Girl, Wizard of Oz, Pirates of Penzance. Next year we will have an incredible crop of girls coming up who could be strong leads or major parts. Can anyone think of a play with girl leads or major parts? We really want to take advantage of these girls' abilities. Thanks in advance. By the way if you want to know more about our drama program, go to our school web site. ----------- Frederick Muller Halsted Middle School Library 59 Halsted Street Newton, NJ 07860 voice (973) 383-7440 ext.229 Fax (973) 383-7432 My Book reviews are compiled at: http://www.halsted.org/br.htm =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
