I "think" Tomes and Talismans has been discontinued, but check out the GPN
Web site just to be sure.

GPN has produced a new series about information skills called Know It All.
This series presents information skills as a process. There are 13 videos in
the series. Nine are student videos and show upper elementary and middle
school students gathering, using, and evaluating information within many
different content areas, e.g. science (building a hovercraft, investigating a
turtle), art (what is art?), social studies (investigating the role of an old
house in the Underground Railroad), language arts (writing an authentic story
about a one-room schoolhouse in 1870s Nebraska), etc. There are 4
professional development videos also that focus on information literacy and
collaboration. The videos were developed with an advisory panel under the
sponsorship of AASL. You can read more about the Know It All videos on the
GPN Web site at http://gpn.unl.edu
