Changing role of librarian

Hi!  I'm a new member to the listserv and I'd like to pick the collective =
brain for  information for a project I am working on for a class in =
Library Media.

Here are the questions:

1.  How has the role of the LMS and the LMC changed during your career?

2.  Are these changes good or bad?

3.  What changes would you like to see happen?

4.  What would be necessary in order for these changes to be realized?
