Hi LM__NETers, I've been selected to chair a committee at my high school on whether or not to entirely drop the "D" grade from our school's grading policy. The rationale is that, given our current performance-based curriculum, does the "D" grade still have relevancy since a "D" grade implies by definition that the students is not meeting the standards. If you know of any resources I could tap both web and print to research this issue I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd also be interested in surveying LM_NETers as to whether or not this discussion is taking place at your school and what the results were. Thanks for your help, Jim Lyon lyonj@edmonds.wednet.edu Library Media Specialist Lynnwood High School Lynnwood, WA 98037 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
