I have had a Hewlett Packard DeskJet 660C for many years. This summer I hooked it up to my new computer, an HP Pavilion 4535, and suddenly the color printing was no good. It looked like only every other line was printing. While that wasn't convenient, most of my printing is black only, so we worked around the problem. Now the printer "busy" light is the only thing that works when I try to print *anything*. The printer just sits there and blinks at me, like it's saying, "You want me to print what?" All of the messages to be printed show up in the queue, but none actually print. Can this problem be corrected by re-installing the driver? I thought I did that once, but maybe I didn't do it correctly. Can some wonderful LM-Netter walk me through this? If you tell me to buy a new printer I wouldn't be surprised. I'm just trying a last ditch effort to save money. TIA!
