elementary keyboarding

Hi!  This is my first day to be registered with LM_NET and I'm
not certain that I have the "list" mailing down yet.

Could any of you in elementary schools please tell me at what
grade should keyboarding begin for students(generally), AND what
program-software do you use...what is the best?
