Hello, we also have a  WEB based OPAC and WAN library system for
checkout,UNICORN,  and I would be very interested to hear your responses.

When we have those problems we have a manual signout, where we have the
title, student name, and barcode written out, and kept in a binder. But
one day after I had been absent, I flipped through the pages and found
about six pages of names,  two months old! that had never been entered!
Now we have added problems of finding out whether or not the books were
returned. (I should add that my absence for a nine month jury duty stint
did not help!) We've also tried your other suggested methods.... to no
avail

What is your OPAC address? It would be helpful to use yours as a research
tool for acquisitions.
