Re: alternatives to Harry Potter

Greetings,
I am new to the boards, I have been watching and reading for a few weeks, I
start my first library media specialist position this fall, I am very
excited.

I have read Which Witch, it is very dark, wonderfuly fun book, but dark.  I
think a better Eva Ibbotson alternative would be The Secret of Platform 13.
Great book, not as dark.

Just my 2 cents.
