Furnishings in the Library and Blind Spots

Gotta tell you this one in reference to the comments about a couch and
PDA (public displays of affection) --

One of the first things I encountered when I started this position last
year was where kids would "hide out" in the library.  One day in
October, I had a class in looking for fiction.  I was "mingling",
helping a few students choose, as was the teacher.  I heard the door of
my back conference room close, but knew there was no one scheduled to
be in there.  After waiting a few minutes (called "give 'em time to
hang themselves"), I opened the door only to see two kids holding the
grating (sp?) from the air vent while another girl was 3/4 of the way
into the vent.  BTW, these vents lead to tunnels under the school, I
found out later.

Moral of the story? -- Where there's a will, there's a way!!
