LM_NET, I'm a first year media specialist at a rural high school. I have several ideas for programs and promotional activities in the library (prize drawings, book brunches, etc.), but no budget to finance these things. I'm looking for ways others have covered these costs. My distcrict dirctor suggested a Friends of the Library Club, and a donation cup/box. She also suggested I come up with fundraiser ideas that will provide funds for next year. I have a few ideas, but I'd like hear from you. What kind of fundraisers, soliciting, etc have you tried? What works? Any advice? (I searched the archives but didn't come up with the type of info I need>) ===== Anita L.
