Comments welcome on second draft of AASL Standards for School Library =
Media Specialist Preparation
          AASL is asking for your help as part of the approval and =
endorsement process of these performance based standards for school =
library media education programs. Also, an open hearing on these standards =
will be held at the ALA 2001 Midwinter Meeting in Washington, D.C. on =
Sunday, January 14.
