I need some advice from those of you familiar with Internet Service Providers. I've just been notified by the Internet Service Provider that I have been using for years that they will no longer provide dial-up service after January. Luckily, I am signing up for a cable modem and can get my personal e-mail that way. However, I need a place to store a couple of web pages, including my school library page, and I like to keep one machine at school on a dial-up service at school when we need to get around our network's firewall. So here are some questions: 1. Can anyone in the Northern New Jersey area recommend an ISP that they have found to be reliable? 2. I've heard of companies that host Web pages for free. Are these any good? Are they full of advertisements, so that when one someone accesses your page, they also get ads? Many thanks for any help you can provide.
