Thanks for sharing.  I tweaked the Christmas Trivia a little and added questions 
about Kwanzaa.  It was
a hit!  I had a boy and girl winner from each grade level (6-8) and presented each 
with a "Christmas
present".  Here are the questions I added:

1.    Name the 7 guiding principles of Kwanzaa.
    (Umoja - unity, Kujichagulia - self determination, Ujima-collective works & 
responsibility, Ujamaa
- cooperative economics, Nia - purpose, Kuumba - creativity, Imani - faith)

2.    When does Kwanzaa begin?  (Dec. 26)

3.    Is Kwanzaa an African or African-American experience? (African American)

4.    Who is the founder of the Kwanzaa experience?  (Dr. Ron "Maulana" Karenga)

5.    What does the word "Kwanzaa" mean?  (the first fruits of the harvest)

6.    Name the colors of Kwanzaa.  (red, green, black)
