I must admit that I am surprised, not by the Newswe
k's wrestlers, but by
the response of some librarians. Given the media world our kids are exposed
to from fashion magazines to movies and TV, this seems like pretty mild
stuff.  Relax, it sure doesn't seem like much to get excited about. Our
students in a Women's Issues class  were in the library yesterday looking at
a variety of magazines examining how women's bodies are portrayed. This
seems like a more interesting way to look at the NEwsweek cover than to
censor it. s
