Go to http://www.greenville.k12.sc.us/bereah/www.htm and look under N -
"nations". One of these sites should have a cross section of
national information you wish of France. The best CD-ROM program
(networkable) that I am aware that would fit your needs is Gale's
Nations, States, & Cultures program. It basically is the reference book

series now put out by Gale, but once was named World Mark of
Nations, States & Cultures. The CD-ROM program add lots of color
pictures, maps, flags, etc. Good luck and let us know if you find other

sources you preferred.

We found one of the best sites to be the French Embassy site
in Washington, D.C.. It covers it all--geography, politics,
education, culture, art, even fashion. They have a special
page for Kids which has good stuff, too. I'm at home and
don't have the url, but I found it by doing a search using
"French Embassy".
