Dear Colleagues, I apologize for using the word "s puter labs suck." It's not professional language. Instead, I was drawing on the pop-culture vernacular form of geekspeak wherein, for instance, a web site is either "cool," or it "sucks." (That's what the kids are saying nowadays.) SEE: I was trying to market a bit, to, if you will, "suck in" people who deal in such vapid terminology everyday. Get them interested. Shake them up, maybe. In a poetic sense I was drawing a parallel: The descriptive terminology in the hyped-up pop-tech world is as shallow as many of the ways in which we apply pop-tech. Sorry, I hadn't meant to offend.
