TARGET: GEN: Color-coded label protectors

Dear colleagues,
    I am considering ordering some color-coded label protectors to put
over the call numbers of my Easy section books so my assistant and I
can tell if they have been misshelved easily.  (I thought of this idea
today when I was looking at Demco's sale flyer.)  I have a few
questions about them.
        1.  Do the colors fade with exposure to the sun?  If they do
fade, it is very gradual or does it happen seemingly overnight?  (We
have a lot of windows in our library.)
        2.  What color do you think works the best?  (The colors are
yellow, blue, orange, red, and purple -- not solid colors but
translucent.)
        3.  Any other problems or tips that you could give me would be
appreciated.
