Target: Quotes on Reading & Libraries; Statistics

I need some material for an April board meeting presentation on school
libraries.  I am looking for quotes about reading and the importance of
libraries: ex:  Libraries Change Lives.  Also, National Statistics that
support the connection of reading and good school libraries.  I know there
is the Lance study.  Is there any source where this is summarized so I can
use quotes and statistics from it?  Any other suggestions?  If interested I
will post  hit.  Thanks so much.
