TARGET: Cat in the Hat boy's name

Well, after a few months, I finally have a stumper.  Does anyone know the
name of the BOY in Seuss' _The Cat in the Hat?_  the girl is identified as
Sally, but with the boy telling the story, we've had no luck finding his
name.  Are my aide & I blind?  I have searched the archives, the next story
of the cat coming back, Seuss' biography we have, and a couple of websites
to no avail. There was even a site indexing the names of all of Seuss'
characters!!
Will post a hit if I get one!
