Subject: TARGET: Cataloging software for VERY small library
I need help or direction on how to design - from scratch - a new elementary
LMC. Specifically looking for a new elementary LMC in CT or Western MA. that
I can visit.

Does anyone know of a library cataloging software program that can be used
successfully by non-librarians to organize and retrieve a small (500 book)
collection? This is also a non-profit group, so funds are very limited.
They are currently using a Works database and sorting fields by author,
title, date, or one of 4 "subjects." But the group wants a "real" library
with call numbers and searchable fields they can use on their PC computers.
Someday they may have up to 3000 books.
I've had 2 leads and both failed, so I'm hoping someone out there can help.
TIA
