Hi, A week or so ago I passed along a tip about translating Yahoo into foreign languages, and got several e-mails about finding the "translate" icon. After experimenting with both Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer, I realized that the "Translate" icon is actually a part of the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser and NOT part of Yahoo. The icon is a part of the toolbar (at least on MY version!) and is found on the far right of the browser. Netscape does not have this feature that I'm aware of. BUT, there is a way around this. If you go to Yahoo in any browser and go down the page to "World Yahoos", you can choose several foreign languages/countries, including French, and voila, you have Yahoo in that language. Of course, you will probably have to put in foreign keywords to search, but if you are helping a student who speaks that language, s/he should know those keywords. Sorry for the confusion and hope this helps.
