Hit: Research topics

Here is a list of the topic suggestions that were sent to me.
Thank you everyone.

*  Choose a peice of literature (Red Badge of Courage).  Do a cause and
effect research paper on some facet of the Civil War.
*  Genre research project.  After choosing a topic each student must locate
an encyclopedia article, magazine article, novel, short story, poem,
non-fiction book on the subject.  After reading all the sources a paper is
written.
*  Decades of the 20th Century.  Student must write about historical
highlights, important people, music, inventions, clothing styles, foods,
entertainment, etc.
*  Disaster of choice (man-made or natural)
*  The Chosen is read by all students.  Papers are done on a variety of
Jewish topics.
*  Historical event in last millenium
*  Literary paper.  Read book of choice (from list of recommendations).
Find literary criticisms, information about the author's life and some
historical background of the time the book was written and or the
historical setting of the story.
*  Literary criticism.
*  Choose a topic from a social studies or science class students are
studying concurently.
*  Find a critical analysis of a piece of literature, citing the text,
argue with it (4 pages only).
