How many of you grew up with Glen Rounds. He is an author - illustrator = of many books. His first book was published by Holiday House in 1936 and = he has a new title in their spring list. If you want to learn more about = him I suggest both Something About the Author or Junior Book of Authors. The Laura Ingalls Wilder Award is given every 3 years to a person whose = work has endured over time. Well having books published for 64 years = certainly fits that criteria. I suggest that you view the Wilder Award = Website and send an email to the committee chair Pat Scales (patscales@aol.= com). The website is=20 www.ala.org/alsc/wilder.html=20 Just my proactive thought for the day.
