The New York Library Association Legislation Committee, of which I am a member, is seeking a telling example of the value of NY State funding for library systems, particularly School Library Systems, that can be used in the packet for the upcoming NYLA legislation day. The anecdote should be a significant example of the state aid and an SLS making a positive impact on a student's learning or a teachers teaching. For example, a telling use of Proquest, the SLS supplied full text database, could be used. The committe needs this anecdote this week, so if you can help I would appreciate it. In addition to anecdotes supplied by SLSA and SLMS, the packet will also feature anecdotes supplied by Public and 3R systems. Thanks for your consideration. Angus G.
