Re: GEN: some info on Texas and Bush

I too would like to see the sources of this information.  I also wonder why
you are asking this question?  Is the purpose to find information about what
Gov. Bush could do for librarians as president? Or is the purpose to voice
your political views?  As a Texas librarian I would first need to do some
research to be able to quote you statistics and insure the accuracy of any
information I would provide you with. Otherwise I would probably be giving
you my opinion.

I apologize to anyone on the list that my response may have offended but, as
a Texan I honestly felt offended by the negativity of the post.
