TECH: saving music files ..zip or jaz drive

Greetings,

The instrumental music teacher at our middle school will soon be using Music
Shop and Band in the Box software to create music files with his students.
He is wondering whether he will need to purchase a jaz drive, or whether a
zip drive will be adequate.

If you have experience (or your staff does with saving files created on
either or both of these programs, we would love to know your experience.
