Greetings, We have had an old fiche/film reader printer that is on its last legs. Have been trying to figure out what to do to replace it. We use it less and less but still need access to all those old magazines and newspapers. As I was preparing for an upcoming project that will need old newspapers I was wondering if there was some better way to read and print them. Well, after calling the local college I discovered there indeed is. It is an image mouse which will read fiche and send it to the computer (Windows 98). They are still working on a film reader. This is good news; the old machines are so large, clunky, cranky, and difficult to work with that I wanted to share this with all of you who are still struggling with the old way.
