As in all resources the library presents, the internet is simply one kind
of resource.

Its advantage, of course, is that it is often able to provide more current
information than print materials.

But, the disadvantage is that there is a tendency to think that all
information is available and all information is relevant or accurate.

The selection of print materials requires an evaluation process that
attempts to provide the best of materials, while the internet simply
democratizes information and opens everything.

So, what is best?  All forms are of value.  The key is to know when to use
each.
