Howdy, Our school has used EBSCO as a magazine jobber for the past couple of years, but their prices and service have not been good for us. We are an overseas US-curriculum school, but we have all our magazines sent to a Stateside address, so international shipping complications are typically not a concern. Even so, our deliveries are frequently incomplete, or filled incorrectly. I'm looking for a good recommendation for an online magazine jobber. Specifically, I want to search periodical offerings online, with prices, before I submit my regular mail-based order. The speed and access for online searching is very important for us, as an international school, with orders due very soon. But more than anything else, I want to work with a reliable jobber. I've read a few postings which recommend Discount Magazine Subscription Services, but unfortunately they don't have an online site that I can find. With an email address, I might be able to get a quick brochure download from them, so if anyone can provide that address, I would appreciate it. I've looked up other companies as well. Online prices for The Magazine Company did not seem too different from EBSCO, and I'm not certain of the quality of service. Again, any recommendations at all would be appreciated, but I do need to move quickly. Thanks very much in advance. Feel free to respond directly to me or to the group. I will post a hit for those interested.
