LM_NETTERS, I just saw a post from someone who may move and regrets it because they "love their job." I also LOVE my job, and I loved the previous LMS job I had. So, it made me curious- what type of job satisfaction do most LMS's have? If you so desire (and all names will remain forever private--I won't take them from signature lines) would you answer my non-scientific survey? It's only 3 questions! And one is optional! :) 1) Type of library you work in: 2) Which is closest to how you feel about your job: a) Love it very much, best job in the school; can't believe you get paid to do it b) Love it --quite satisfied c) Like it very much but wouldn't call it "love" d) Like it, but don't like hassles involved (administration, colleagues, budget...) e) Satisfied; it's as good a job as any d) Indifferent. Work is work. Don't much care, but have good vacations f) Dislike the job g) Hate dragging body to work each day--wish you had a different job entirely. 3) Any comments: Thanks! Please send all "surveys" to Bookpusher@aol.com I will post a HIT if there is interest.
